Senior VMware Engineer / IT Consultant (L2) Location: Stockholm, Sweden (3 days per week onsite)Hours: 40 hours per weekStart: As per project requirementsCitizenship Requirement: Swedish citizenship requiredRemote Work: No We are seeking an experienced Senior VMware Engineer to operate, maintain, and enhance a large-scale VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environment. The successful candidate will work within a complex enterprise infrastructure, supporting private cloud services, VMware Tanzu/Kubernetes platforms, automation workflows, and infrastructure lifecycle management. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate, maintain, and develop a large-scale VMware Cloud Foundation environment.Work hands-on with the VCF stack including:vSphereESXivCenterNSXvSANVCF OperationsSupport and develop VKS / VMware Tanzu Kubernetes capabilities.Troubleshoot complex VMware, Kubernetes, and infrastructure issues.Perform VCF lifecycle management, upgrades, and patching.Manage NSX networking, routing, and security configurations.Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams on platform integrations.Support integrations with enterprise services including:Backup solutionsMonitoring platformsPAM (Privileged Access Management)CMDB systemsContribute to technical standards, documentation, and operational processes.Drive continuous improvement of the private cloud platform's reliability and capabilities. VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)Strong hands-on experience operating and maintaining VCF environments.
