What you will actually doAs a Senior Management Consultant at Midagon, you will work closely with our clients’ key decision-makers. Your assignments will vary depending on your background, but they typically sit at the intersection of strategy, business, operations and technology. Sometimes you will lead. Sometimes you will advise. And sometimes the greatest value comes from rolling up your sleeves and solving a difficult problem together with the client or as part of a team. We help clients define direction and make difficult decisions, but we also stay involved when those decisions need to be translated into programmes, operating models, technology choices and tangible change. We do not just recommend what should happen — we help make it happen. You might, for example: lead a transformation programme, strategic initiative or critical workstream from planning through implementationact as a trusted advisor to senior business, technology or transformation leaderssupport management in major investment, sourcing, technology and transformation decisions based on facts rather than vendor agendasturn strategic ambitions into concrete transformation roadmaps, priorities, governance and operating modelsassess complex business or technology landscapes, identify the real issues and recommend a practical way forwardstructure business cases, transformation portfolios, benefits tracking and executive-level decision-makingsupport major transactions and post-merger integrations, including business, operating model and technology impactslead or advise on strategic sourcing, data, enterprise architecture and AI-related transformations as part of broader business change. Who we are particularly interested in meetingRight now, we are especially interested in experienced consultants with expertise in Banking, Finance & Insurance, as we continue to grow our Nordic practice in this area. We are also keen to meet candidates with strong experience in IT sourcing, Mergers & Acquisitions, and areas such as: operating model design and implementationbusiness and technology advisorybusiness and IT transformationtransformation and programme leadershipdata and enterprise architectureAI-enabled business transformation. You do not need to fit neatly into one box. Many of the best consultants do not. What we expect from youYou have built your expertise in demanding consulting, advisory or transformation roles and are comfortable working with senior stakeholders in situations where the answer is not obvious. We would love to see you bring: a strong background in management consulting, advisory or comparable transformation rolesa proven track record of leading or delivering complex business and/or technology changethe ability to confidently move between strategic discussions and practical executionexcellent problem-solving and communication skillsthe ability to build trusted relationships with senior clientsthe confidence to challenge constructively and give an independent point of viewa commercial mindset and an understanding of how consulting creates real customer valuecuriosity about how developments such as AI are reshaping businesses, operating models and transformationa relevant university degreefluent in written and spoken Finnish and English.
