About the role...We are currently seeking an Technical Services Engineer (DevOps) to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions and private sector companies in Greece and abroad. What you will do...Design and implement microservices-based components and infrastructure.Build and maintain integrations across cloud environments and enterprise services.Support the migration of monolithic applications into independent, scalable services.Implement API-first and event-driven integration solutions.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.Deploy and operate workloads across virtual machines, containers, and Kubernetes environments.Implement monitoring, logging, metrics, and tracing to ensure system reliability and performance.Apply software quality practices, including testing, security scanning, and code reviews.Provide hands-on technical support during application and infrastructure migrations. Technical Skills required...BSc's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or another relevant field.8+ years of proven working experience as a DevOps Engineer, Technical Services Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role.Strong experience with Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud environments.Solid DevOps expertise in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Strong knowledge of API management, messaging systems, and integration patterns.Experience with Azure Service Bus and API Management (APIM).Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and database integration.Experience with monitoring and observability practices.Knowledge of the Microsoft .NET and Azure stack is a plus.Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical collaboration skills.Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal; Behavioral Attributes...Self Development: Shows eagerness to grow and achieve more in respective area of expertise;Adaptability / Flexibility: Shows ability to cope with fast changing technologies and requirements;Solution focused mindset: Focus on work quality results with attention to detail and delivery of tasks within agreed deadlines;Focus on Customer either internal or external;Creativity & Initiative: Proposes ideas and solutions to existing ways of working, takes initiatives, identifies risks and works proactively;Teamwork: Collaborates effectively & efficiently with various diverse and geographically distributed work teams;Accountability: Shows strong sense of responsibility and ownership of the activities assigned.
