What They’re Looking For We are looking for an experienced Telecom Test Engineer / QA Specialist with at least 2 years of hands-on testing experience within the telecommunications sector. The successful candidate should understand telecom service processes and have experience testing complex, interconnected platforms, particularly within OSS/BSS environments.Strong candidates will ideally have experience with: Telecom / Telco testingOSS and BSS platformsService provisioning and fulfilmentNetwork/service activationTelecom inventory managementEnd-to-end and system integration testingUATAPI and interface testingTelecom protocols and technical interfacesData/system migration validationDefect investigation and root-cause analysisLog and protocol analysisJira and test management platformsTest planning, execution and reporting Excellent spoken and written English communication skills are essential. 3. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for validating telecom services and integrations across a complex transformation programme, ensuring systems operate correctly throughout implementation and migration activities. Your responsibilities will include: Develop and execute test scenarios covering E2E, SIT and UAT activities.Validate telecom provisioning, service fulfilment, activation and related operational processes.Test APIs, interfaces and integrations between multiple telecom platforms.Analyse application logs, technical messages and protocols to investigate failures.Record, manage and track defects through Jira and other test management systems.Work closely with development teams, vendors, business stakeholders and technical teams to drive issues through to resolution.Monitor testing progress and provide clear status, defect and risk reporting.Participate in large-scale migration testing and verify that data and services have transferred accurately.Support readiness activities by confirming that systems and services meet the required operational and business expectations.Contribute to root-cause investigations where complex integration or service issues occur.
