The engineering organisation is international, collaborative and relatively lean, giving experienced engineers the opportunity to take meaningful ownership and influence how technology evolves.The Opportunity We’re looking for Senior Backend Engineers with an interest in Applied AI to help build the next generation of AI-powered ecommerce capabilities. This is not a research-focused ML role and it isn’t simply about integrating an LLM API. You’ll be a strong backend engineer first, while helping design and build production AI capabilities across areas such as:Conversational and semantic searchRecommendation enginesRetrieval and RAG systemsLLM-powered product featuresAgentic workflowsAI tooling and automationMachine-learning applications in production You’ll have the opportunity to work across different teams and technical domains depending on business priorities, with significant ownership from architecture and development through to deployment and operation.
