Electrical Project Engineer

Location: Espoo and Lahti, FinlandContract Type: Freelance / ContractContract Length: 6 Months (Option to Extend or Go Permanent)Working Pattern: Fully OnsiteHours: 40 Hours per Week Key Responsibilities:• Support the delivery of electrical packages across all phases of the project lifecycle.• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client teams throughout project execution.• Review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.• Manage RFIs, technical queries, design changes, and project documentation.• Monitor project progress and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.• Support procurement activities, material tracking, and equipment deliveries.• Assist with project planning, scheduling, reporting, and programme management.• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.• Attend project meetings and provide technical support to key stakeholders.• Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and client requirements. Requirements:• Previous experience as a Project Engineer, Electrical Project Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Senior Electrical Engineer.• Strong electrical background.• Previous data centre experience.• Mandatory DC systems experience.• Experience working with HV, MV, and/or LV electrical infrastructure.• Knowledge of switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, substations, and power distribution systems.• Experience coordinating construction, engineering, and installation activities on large-scale projects.• Ability to manage technical documentation, project schedules, and stakeholder communications.• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.• Fluent English.• Ability to work onsite in Espoo or Lahti for the duration of the project.
