Senior Mainframe Developer (DB2 for z/OS) Location: Stockholm (Hybrid)Contract Type: B2B / ContractorIndustry: Financial Services We are currently supporting a strategic project with a leading financial services organization, Euroclear, and are looking for an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer to join a high-profile team working on mission-critical systems. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, maintain, and enhance applications running on IBM z/OS environments.Develop and support DB2 for z/OS databases, SQL queries, and stored procedures.Perform DB2 performance analysis, tuning, and optimization.Develop and maintain COBOL batch and online applications.Work with JCL, CICS, TSO/ISPF, and REXX to support daily operations and project delivery.Participate in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on complex, high-visibility initiatives.Required Skills10+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Mainframe development.Strong expertise in:DB2 for z/OSCOBOLJCLCICSTSO/ISPFREXXSQL and Stored ProceduresExperience with batch processing environments.Knowledge of DB2 performance tuning and optimization.Understanding of data sharing and high-availability mainframe environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Nice to HaveExperience within banking, financial services, or capital markets.Previous experience working with Euroclear or similar financial institutions.Swedish language skills.What You'll Work OnYou'll join a team delivering complex and highly visible initiatives supporting critical financial market infrastructure.
