Maintenance SupervisorIndustry: Feed Mill / ManufacturingLocation: Haima (Hayma) OmanExperience: 5+ YearsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related fieldAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations within a feed mill manufacturing environment. The role will focus on ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, managing maintenance teams and costs, and maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise electrical, mechanical, and boiler maintenance activities.Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.Lead maintenance teams and assign daily tasks and work schedules.Ensure maximum availability and reliability of production equipment.Inspect completed maintenance work to ensure compliance with required standards.Manage maintenance costs, including labor, spare parts, and inventory.Maintain appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels for critical spare parts.Coordinate with vendors to ensure maintenance requirements and specifications are met.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and biosecurity requirements.Provide technical and safety training to maintenance personnel.Maintain accurate records of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.Prepare maintenance reports and document equipment-related changes and issues.Support annual maintenance budget preparation.Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and fumigation of machinery.Support smooth operation of feed production processes, including grinding, batching, mixing, conditioning, pelleting, cooling, crumbling, screening, and packing.Perform other maintenance-related responsibilities as required.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.Experience supervising mechanical and electrical maintenance teams.Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.Experience with maintenance planning, spare-parts inventory, and cost management.Strong understanding of workplace safety and maintenance procedures.Experience in a feed mill, manufacturing, or industrial production environment is preferred.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Work EnvironmentThe role involves working in a production environment with a strong focus on equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, safety, and production efficiency. Appropriate PPE and adherence to workplace safety protocols are required.
