Microsoft Copilot Engineer

We are seeking a Microsoft Copilot Engineer to support Microsoft 365 Copilot implementation, SharePoint governance, security, compliance, and automation initiatives. This role will help enable secure Copilot adoption by configuring Microsoft 365 capabilities, identifying and remediating governance risks, and developing automation and reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities:Configure and support Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Premium, and agents.Configure pilot environments and perform testing and validation.Assess and remediate SharePoint Online permissions, memberships, external sharing, inactive/ownerless sites, and oversharing risks.Support Microsoft Purview, sensitivity labels, DLP, data classification, and restricted access initiatives.Develop PowerShell scripts, governance automation, dashboards, and reporting.Track governance metrics and produce assessment and remediation reports.Work with business stakeholders and site owners to explain findings and support remediation.Create technical documentation and maintain governance records. Required Qualifications:5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration experience.Strong SharePoint Online administration experience.Proficiency with PowerShell and automation.Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview.Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Teams administration.Experience with large-scale Microsoft 365 migrations or governance programs.Strong communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-management skills.
