Back End Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join a challenging enterprise project focused on building scalable, modern, cloud-native backend systems.You will work within the JVM ecosystem using Java, Kotlin, or Scala, contributing not only to the implementation of new features but also to the technical architecture, scalability, reliability, and long-term quality of the platform. Your Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain modern backend applications using Java, Kotlin, or ScalaDesign and implement scalable microservice architecturesBuild and evolve event-driven systems using Apache KafkaDevelop and deploy cloud-native applications in a Kubernetes environmentContribute to technical architecture and make decisions that support scalability, maintainability, and performanceContinuously analyze and optimize existing systems, processes, and codebasesEnsure high standards of software quality, reliability, and maintainabilityCollaborate closely with developers, architects, product stakeholders, and other teamsWork effectively as part of an international, distributed Agile team Must-Have Qualifications:Several years of professional experience developing backend systems with Java, Kotlin, or ScalaStrong expertise in backend software developmentSolid experience designing and implementing microservice architecturesGood understanding of event-driven architectures and distributed systemsHands-on experience with Apache KafkaGood practical knowledge of KubernetesStrong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and code qualityExcellent English communication skills (B2+ minimum; C1 preferred)Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an international team
