Network Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Network Project Manager to support a large-scale network and telecom transformation programme within a complex enterprise environment.This role is particularly suited to someone who started their career as a Network Engineer or Network Specialist before progressing into Project/Programme Management. You will bring strong technical understanding of network infrastructure alongside extensive experience managing complex, large-scale technology programmes. Key Responsibilities Lead complex network and telecom transformation projects from planning through to deliveryManage large-scale infrastructure programmes across multiple technical workstreamsCoordinate engineering teams, architects, vendors and other third-party suppliersManage project plans, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies and changeWork closely with senior technical and business stakeholdersOversee delivery across network, cloud, security, datacentre and infrastructure environmentsEnsure effective governance, reporting and communication throughout the project lifecycleOperate across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery environments Experience Required 8–15+ years' experience within IT/Telecom project environmentsStrong experience as a Network/Telecom Project ManagerPrevious hands-on experience as a Network Engineer, Network Specialist or similar technical networking roleProven delivery of network or telecom transformation programmesExperience managing large-scale infrastructure projectsStrong background working within complex enterprise environmentsExperience managing external vendors and multidisciplinary technical teamsStrong executive stakeholder management Technical KnowledgeStrong understanding of several of the following: Telecom networks, including Core, Access and TransportIP networking and WAN technologiesAzure and/or AWSNetwork securityDatacentres and infrastructure servicesService assurance and network operations You are not expected to be a hands-on engineer today, but you should have sufficient technical depth to confidently manage engineering teams and understand the challenges involved in delivering complex network programmes.
