Senior Solution Lead/Architect - SAP FICO - German Speaking We're looking for a Senior SAP FICO Solution Lead/Architect to join a major finance transformation programme, working across FI, CO, Product Costing and related modules for a global IT consultancy client. This is a senior, client-facing role for someone with years of SAP FICO experience who is comfortable leading solution design end-to-end, from workshops through to deployment and user support, and who can operate confidently in both English and German. You'll be working on manufacturing and process industry scenarios, with exposure to S/4HANA best practices and Universal Journal innovations, shaping how the client's finance and controlling functions run going forward. What you'll be doingLeading solution design across SAP FI: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Accounting, EBS, Treasury integrations, tax reporting, intercompany processes and financial consolidation.Designing and configuring SAP CO processes: Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders and Overhead Cost Controlling.Delivering Product Costing solutions covering Standard and Actual Costing, Material Ledger, Cost Component Structures and Variance Analysis.Designing profitability reporting structures, derivation strategies and allocation logic within COPA.Configuring RE-FX for lease contracts, rent calculations, property management and IFRS16 lease accounting.Leading fit-gap analysis and solution design workshops with business stakeholders, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.Driving finance transformation initiatives aligned with ECC and S/4HANA best practices, optimising controlling processes via the Universal Journal. What you'll bringSAP FICO experience, including strong hands-on expertise across FI, CO, Product Costing and COPA.Hands-on experience with RE-FX, including lease accounting and IFRS16.Experience with Asset Accounting, including New Asset Accounting and parallel valuation.Experience with SAP Credit Management (FSCM), including credit rules, risk categories and cash and liquidity management.A track record of running full project lifecycle work: workshops, blueprint, functional design, realisation, deployment, testing, training and user support.Fluency in English and German. Good to haveABAP debugging skills.Experience working in multi-vendor environments.Prior experience as a Solution Lead or Transformation Lead on multiple end-to-end SAP implementations.Experience driving proposals, estimations and presales activity.Familiarity with SAP RISE methodology (Private or Public Cloud implementation/migration).Experience managing multinational teams and client stakeholders, including leading junior SAP consultants.
