Pega Lead System Architect

For one of our clients based in Europe, we are currently looking for Pega Lead System Architect. Job details: Start date: ASAPContract Duration: 6 months with extensionRemote work Scope: Architect end-to-end integration solutions connecting Pega applications with legacy mainframe systems, API gateways, and surrounding enterprise platforms.Lead client architecture workshops to define technical integration requirements and translate business needs into scalable Pega solution designs.Map business processes to target applications, define data entities, select integration patterns, and produce ADR-style design artifacts.Configure and extend Pega CLM/KYC FS frameworks, including case types, workflows, data models, screening rules, and risk engines.Implement API-gateway-based integrations utilizing REST, OData v2, and OAuth2 security protocols.Analyze legacy implementations to establish reusability patterns, resolve complex interoperability challenges, and support data migration strategies.Drive guardrail-compliant configurations on Pega Platform ('24/'25 generation) while mentoring engineering teams across cross-functional streams. Skills: Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) certification.8+ years of Pega delivery experience with at least one full Pega CLM or KYC implementation as lead architect.Pega Platform, case management, data pages, low-code development, and guardrail enforcement.Pega CLM/KYC FS applications, REST/OData v2 integrations, API gateways, and OAuth2 authentication.Architectural decision records (ADRs), technical governance, and cross-team problem-solving.Fluent English communication skills. Nice to Have: German language proficiency for client workshops and documentation.Banking, KYC, AML, or EU regulatory framework experience (e.g., BaFin).Project delivery background in DACH financial services or insurance.SAP integrations, Deployment Manager, PegaUnit, or Scenario Testing.
