Senior Data Scientist

Details: Start date: ASAPContract Duration: 6 months with extensionRemote work with occasional on-site team sessions in PragueUS hours overlap: Min. 2–6 pm CET (ideally until 7 pm CET)

Responsibilities: Design, train and deploy transformer-based AI models for text and image applications.Manage the end-to-end ML lifecycle data preparation, model design, validation, and deployment.Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and domain experts on AI-driven prototypes and proof-of-concepts.Stay up to date with advancements in Generative AI and integrate emerging tools and techniques.

Skills: 5+ years of relevant experience in Data ScienceStrong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn.Experience with transformer architectures and GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG, vector DBs).Solid understanding of MLOps/DataOps and cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP accepted).Familiarity with probabilistic modeling (Bayesian Networks, Markov Models).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Fluent English and strong communication abilities.
