Project Management Officer
PMO / Project Management Professional – Data Governance Location: Remote / NearshoreDuration: 6 months initially, with potential extensionSeniority: Mid-LevelEngagement: Freelance / B2B About the Role We are looking for a mid-level PMO / Project Management professional with strong Data Governance and Data Management experience to support projects. The role will sit across project delivery, data governance and digital transformation, working with business, data and technical stakeholders to coordinate delivery and ensure effective governance. Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of Data Governance and Data Management projects.Coordinate activities across Data Owners, Data Stewards, business and technical teams.Manage project plans, milestones, RAID logs, dependencies and actions.Support data governance activities including data ownership, data quality, metadata, data cataloguing and data lineage.Support the implementation and adoption of Collibra or similar Data Governance platforms.Prepare project reporting and management updates.Organise governance meetings, workshops and stakeholder sessions.Identify risks, issues and dependencies and drive actions through to completion. Requirements 3–6 years' experience in PMO, Project Management, Data Management or Data Governance.Proven experience working on Data Governance / Data Management initiatives.Good understanding of data quality, metadata, data ownership, data stewardship and data lineage.Experience with Collibra or a similar Data Governance / Data Catalogue tool.Strong project coordination, stakeholder management and reporting skills.Comfortable working across both business and technical teams.Experience within a large enterprise or complex technology environment is desirable.
