Project Manager

Contract: 6-month contractLocation: Remote, EuropeDay Rate: €200 per dayStart: ASAP We’re supporting a UK SaaS business building a new European product and engineering team to deliver a major product modernisation programme. We’re looking for a hands-on Product Manager who can take ownership of product direction, priorities and outcomes while working closely with Engineering, Design and QA. The initial project will focus on modernising a large legacy SaaS platform, including rebuilding key areas of the existing product and improving the overall customer experience. The environment is highly AI-enabled, with AI tools embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. We’re therefore looking for someone who has already adopted AI within Product Management or is genuinely enthusiastic about using AI to accelerate discovery, research, analysis and decision-making. What you’ll be doing

• Own product direction and priorities for your area• Help define the roadmap for a major SaaS modernisation programme• Identify and prioritise the highest-value customer and business problems• Work closely with Engineering, Design and QA throughout delivery• Translate customer, market and business insight into clear product initiatives• Define clear hypotheses and measurable success criteria before development begins• Use customer feedback, product data and market insight to support prioritisation• Work closely with the Product Owner to maintain strong execution, backlog health and delivery outcomes• Review specifications to ensure they reflect the original product and business intent• Support release decisions and ensure delivered features achieve the intended business outcomes• Coordinate product releases with Sales, Marketing and other business stakeholders• Measure adoption, customer impact and commercial outcomes after release• Communicate roadmap, priorities, progress and outcomes to senior stakeholders• Use AI tools to accelerate research, discovery, competitive analysis and product decision-making• Make fast, evidence-led decisions within short delivery cycles

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a Product Manager within a software, SaaS or technology business• Strong experience owning product strategy, roadmaps and prioritisation• Experience taking products or significant features from discovery through delivery and measurement• Strong customer discovery and product research experience• Experience defining measurable product outcomes rather than simply delivering features• Strong experience working with software engineering teams• Comfortable discussing technical concepts, APIs and software architecture with Engineering• Experience working on product modernisation, platform transformation or legacy migration programmes is highly desirable• Experience managing or working closely with Product Owners• Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance customer, technical and business priorities• Experience working with Product Design, Engineering, QA, Sales and Marketing• Strong stakeholder communication skills, including senior leadership• Comfortable working in environments with limited documentation and taking ownership quickly• Comfortable making decisions and adapting priorities within fast delivery cycles• Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Productboard AI or similar within product workflows is highly desirable
