Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP BW/BI Consultant to lead data modeling, reporting modernization, and business intelligence optimization for complex enterprise clients. This fully remote role focuses on end-to-end data warehousing engineering, performance tuning, and transitioning legacy SAP BW setups toward modern SAP BW/4HANA architectures. Key Responsibilities: Data Modeling & Architecture: Design, build, and optimize enterprise data models, Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSOs), Composite Providers, and Core Data Services (CDS) views within SAP BW on HANA / BW/4HANA.Extraction & Integration: Manage data extraction pipelines from SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and non-SAP source systems using standard and custom extractors.Frontend Analytics: Develop and maintain analytics dashboards, reports, and stories using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), BEx Query Designer, or Analysis for Office.Migration & Modernization: Support migration roadmaps from legacy SAP BW (7.x) to SAP BW/4HANA, ensuring data consistency and minimal business disruption.Stakeholder Management: Gather business requirements directly from department heads, translate functional requirements into technical specifications, and deliver end-user training. Requirements: Experience: 5+ years of hands-on technical experience as an SAP BW/BI Consultant.Core Skills: Advanced proficiency in SAP BW 7.x, SAP BW on HANA, and SAP BW/4HANA modeling techniques.Development: Solid knowledge of ABAP for SAP BW (routines, transformations, variable exit coding) and SQLScript.Reporting Tools: Demonstrated experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), BEx Queries, or SAP BusinessObjects tools.Languages: B2/C1/C2 fluent German language skills are mandatory due to business stakeholder communication requirements.Nice-to-Have: Experience with SAP Datasphere or native SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics.
