Azure DevOps Specialist / DevSecOps Engineer (Medior / Level 3)Location: Stockholm, Sweden (Hybrid)Engagement Type: Contract-to-Hire / Hyrköp (~6 Months Initial Contract with intent to convert to Permanent)Workload: 100% About the Role: We are seeking a Medior Azure DevOps Specialist to strengthen the development and delivery capabilities across our client's core software development platforms in Stockholm.In this role, you will play a key part in driving efficient, secure, and scalable delivery flows throughout the entire DevSecOps lifecycle—from source code to automated testing, deployment, and release on demand. You will join a dedicated team focused on high-scale automation, working in close collaboration with software development teams, enterprise architects, and internal platform operations. Note: This position specifically requires deep platform expertise in Azure DevOps, rather than general DevOps toolchains. Key Responsibilities: Platform Management & Evolution: Contribute to the continuous development, lifecycle management, and governance of the enterprise Azure DevOps platform.Pipeline Engineering: Build, secure, and maintain scalable CI/CT/CD solutions utilizing YAML-based configurations and Managed DevOps Pools across multiple software teams.Package Management & Artifacts: Manage package feeds, artifact repositories, and automated delivery workflows.DevSecOps Integration: Embed automated security scanning, vulnerability checks, and automated testing directly into deployment pipelines.Governance & Advisory: Establish, implement, and support technical policies, security frameworks, and standard operational procedures for Azure DevOps usage.Team Enablement: Support developer onboarding, share best practices, and act as an advisory expert to help teams adopt continuous integration and deployment standards safely. Qualifications & Requirements: Mandatory Requirements: Experience: Minimum 4+ years of documented professional experience as an Azure DevOps Specialist or DevSecOps Engineer.Platform Expertise: Deep hands-on knowledge of Azure DevOps as a platform (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Test Plans).Delivery Automation: Proven experience building and maintaining automated CI/CT/CD pipelines from source code to test and production.DevSecOps Principles: Strong understanding of security principles, shift-left testing, and governance in delivery pipelines.Scripting & Code: Strong proficiency in YAML, Git, PowerShell, and C#.Scalable Architecture: Demonstrated ability to build reusable pipeline templates and solutions used by multiple development teams.Language: Fluent in English and/or Swedish. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Developer Background: Prior hands-on background in .NET / C# development.Agile Frameworks: Experience working within agile delivery models, preferably SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).Security Tooling: Experience integrating static code analysis and security scanning tools into pipelines (e.g., SonarQube, Dependency Check, SAST/DAST).Test Automation & Containers: Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and scalable continuous testing frameworks.
