Title: Project Manager / AI Governance Lead (EU AI Act)Location: Helsinki, Finland (Hybrid – 3 Days On-site / Week)Contract Duration: 06 Oct 2026 – 30 Nov 2027 (14 Months, Freelance B2B)Workload: 100% (40 hrs/week) Position Summary: We are seeking a Project Manager / AI Governance Lead for a 14-month contract assignment in Helsinki. Merging project delivery with AI regulatory governance, this role acts as the core translator between legal requirements and operational execution—converting the EU AI Act into practical controls, governance gates, and audit evidence models while keeping delivery workplans on schedule. Key Responsibilities: Convert EU AI Act high-risk requirements and provider/deployer obligations into practical operating controls and evidence frameworks.Establish operating governance gates, risk assessment frameworks, and remediation tracking across design, build, validation, and deployment phases.Own the delivery workplan, run governance gates, manage critical path dependencies, and ensure milestones are met on schedule.Manage cross-functional dependencies across business, AI engineering, IT, legal, privacy, risk, and compliance teams. Qualifications & Requirements: Documented experience with EU AI Act high-risk requirements and practical regulatory implementation.Proven ability to design operational risk & control frameworks, governance gates, and evidence models.Demonstrated track record in project management across regulated transformations, technology risk, or AI governance.Professional fluency in English.
