Job Description: Senior Cloud Data Engineer – GCPLocation: Stockholm/Solna, SwedenExperience: Senior Level(4+ Years)Start Date: October 26, 2026End Date: August 31, 2028Language: EnglishWorking Hours: Approximately 40 hours per weekRole OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join the Client Reporting team and help modernize legacy platforms into a cloud-based data ecosystem using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves hands-on development, technical design, data integration, and building scalable data solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, APIs, and data products.Modernize legacy data platforms and integrate them with GCP.Build and optimize data solutions using BigQuery, Python, and SQL.Develop ETL/ELT workflows and data integration solutions.Collaborate with architects, product owners, developers, and business stakeholders.Contribute to technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and implementation.Implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.Ensure data quality, reliability, scalability, and adherence to technical standards.Required SkillsSeveral years of experience in software development and data engineering.Strong hands-on experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms.Excellent knowledge of Python, BigQuery, and SQL.Experience with Dataform, Airflow, Pub/Sub, and Docker.Understanding of data warehouse and event-driven architectures.Experience with ETL processes and data modelling, including dimensional modelling or Data Vault.Knowledge of GitLab, CI/CD, DevOps, and Terraform.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Additional RequirementsEnglish proficiency is required.The candidate must be available to work in Stockholm/Solna, Sweden.A background check is required.CV must be submitted in English.The supplier must have valid Swedish F-tax registration.
