Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join the Client Reporting team and work on business-critical data flows, reporting solutions, and cloud transformation initiatives.The team is modernizing legacy platforms into a cloud-based data ecosystem on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will contribute to technical design, development, modernization, and implementation of scalable data solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive and contribute to the technical roadmap for data and integration solutions.Design, develop, implement, and maintain data applications.Build and modernize data pipelines, APIs, and data products.Integrate legacy systems with modern GCP cloud-native architecture.Work closely with architects, product owners, developers, and business stakeholders.Ensure solutions follow technical standards, architecture patterns, and target architecture.Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.Required SkillsSeveral years of experience in software development and data engineering.Strong hands-on experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms.Strong Python, SQL, and BigQuery skills.Experience with:BigQueryDataformAirflowPub/SubDockerStrong understanding of modern data architectures, including:Data WarehousingEvent-driven architectureExperience with ETL processes and data modelling.Knowledge of Dimensional Modelling and/or Data Vault.Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, GitLab, and Infrastructure as Code.Experience with Terraform is highly desirable.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
