The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Service Technician to install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot EV charging infrastructure. This is a hands-on, field-based position involving travel to customer sites. You will work with both AC and DC charging equipment and take responsibility for ensuring installations operate safely, reliably and according to the required technical standards. The position suits an electrician or service technician who enjoys technical problem-solving, customer contact and working independently. You will collaborate with project managers, electricians, suppliers and other technical colleagues to complete assignments efficiently and to a high standard. Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and commission AC and DC EV charging stations, associated electrical equipment and network connections.Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs and technical inspections of existing charging infrastructure.Diagnose electrical, communication and equipment faults, restoring systems to operation efficiently.Test, configure and connect charging equipment to relevant backend and monitoring platforms.Complete service reports, safety checks and installation documentation accurately.Manage assigned service cases independently while coordinating with customers, project managers, suppliers and colleagues. About YouYou are technically capable, dependable and comfortable taking responsibility for your own assignments. You approach problems methodically and can communicate clearly with customers and colleagues. You should have:Relevant electrical education, training or qualificationsProfessional experience in electrical installation, maintenance or technical serviceStrong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skillsThe ability to work safely and independently in the fieldA practical, structured and solutions-focused approachGood communication and customer-facing skillsGood IT skills and confidence working with connected technical equipmentThe ability to document completed work accuratelyA valid Category B driving licenceThe flexibility to travel to customer sites, with occasional overnight stays where requiredSwedish language skills suitable for customer communication and technical documentation Previous experience in EV charging is highly desirable, although applications are also welcomed from experienced electricians and service technicians who want to specialise in charging infrastructure.
