FPGA Developer

We are looking for an experienced FPGA Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-performance, reliable FPGA-based solutions for advanced telecom and embedded systems.In this role, you will be responsible for FPGA development activities spanning architecture, design, verification, integration, deployment, and troubleshooting. You will work closely with hardware, software, system, and verification teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Responsibilities-Design and develop FPGA-based solutions for complex embedded and telecom systems.Define FPGA architectures and translate system requirements into robust, scalable, and maintainable digital designs.Develop RTL using VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.Perform FPGA simulation, functional verification, synthesis, timing analysis, integration, and hardware validation.Collaborate closely with hardware, embedded software, system engineering, and verification teams.Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and architectural decisions related to FPGA development.Troubleshoot and optimize FPGA designs for performance, timing, reliability, resource utilization, and scalability.Support FPGA integration, hardware bring-up, deployment, and testing in laboratory and production environments.Develop and maintain verification strategies, test environments, and technical documentation.Identify opportunities to improve development processes, automation, quality, and engineering efficiency.Apply FPGA design methodologies, coding standards, and verification best practices. Required Qualification -5+ years of hands-on FPGA development experience in complex embedded, telecom, or high-performance systems.Strong experience with VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.Solid understanding of digital design, RTL development, FPGA architecture, timing, and clock-domain crossing.Hands-on experience with FPGA simulation, verification, synthesis, timing analysis, and hardware debugging.Experience with FPGA development tools such as AMD/Xilinx Vivado/Vitis, Intel Quartus, or equivalent.Experience with hardware debugging and validation using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG, and on-chip debugging tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex FPGA and hardware issues.Experience working in Agile and cross-functional engineering teams.Good understanding of software/hardware interaction and embedded system architectures.Excellent communication skills in English. Swedish is an advantage. You are a hands-on FPGA engineer with strong digital design expertise and a passion for solving complex technical problems. You are comfortable working across hardware and software boundaries and taking responsibility for FPGA development from architecture and RTL design through verification, hardware bring-up, and deployment.You enjoy working collaboratively with engineers from different technical disciplines and continuously look for ways to improve design quality, development efficiency, and system performance.
