About the RoleAs a Linux System Administrator, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and support of a large-scale Linux-based platform supporting remote engineering and high-performance computing environments.This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working across infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering. You will be responsible for ensuring the environment remains secure, scalable, and highly available while driving improvements through automation and Infrastructure as Code. Working closely with infrastructure and engineering teams, you will help deliver robust Linux solutions that support critical business operations and engineering activities. ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and maintain enterprise Linux infrastructure environmentsDevelop and enhance automation solutions using Ansible and Infrastructure as Code methodologiesSupport platform reliability, availability, performance, and securityCreate and maintain CI/CD workflows and deployment processesCollaborate with infrastructure and platform engineering teams on architecture and system improvementsTroubleshoot complex Linux and infrastructure issuesProduce and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and architecture designsDrive continuous improvement initiatives across automation and platform management RequirementsStrong experience administering Linux environments (RHEL, Rocky Linux, or similar enterprise distributions)Proven experience with Ansible and infrastructure automationStrong Bash scripting skillsExperience working with Git and GitLabUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practicesGood knowledge of networking, system security, and monitoring principlesExperience designing and maintaining scalable infrastructure platformsAbility to work independently and take ownership of complex technical environments
