Role: Project Manager – Manufacturing & Industrial SystemsContract: 12 monthsLocation: Västerås, SwedenWorking arrangement: On-site, 5 days per weekRate: 750-850 SEK per hourStart: Early October The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Project Leader who wants to be at the centre of that transformation.This is an opportunity to lead complex industrial projects within a major manufacturing environment, working across technology, production, engineering, suppliers and management to turn ambitious plans into tangible results.The role will involve driving projects through change, uncertainty and technical complexity, with a particular focus on manufacturing systems, production environments and assembly-line projects. Your Everyday RoleYou may be leading the relocation or implementation of an existing assembly line, supporting the introduction of a new production line, or coordinating the implementation and integration of systems that support modern manufacturing operations.You will be the person who creates direction when others see complexity, brings different teams together around a common goal and ensures that projects continue to move forward.Among other things, you will:Lead complex technical, industrial and systems projects from planning through to implementation.Manage projects involving assembly-line relocation, installation, commissioning and/or implementation of new production lines.Lead cross-functional teams towards clear objectives, milestones and deliverables.Coordinate activities across IT, engineering, production, suppliers and other stakeholders.Manage project schedules, resources, risks, budgets and dependencies.Act as the central point of coordination between technical teams, production, management and external partners.Drive system implementation and integration activities within manufacturing and production environments.Support the successful integration of production-related systems and technologies.Identify risks and issues early and drive appropriate actions through to resolution.Manage change and maintain momentum in complex and dynamic project environments.Ensure that agreed strategies and plans are translated into measurable results. Your ProfileYou have proven experience as a Project Leader in complex IT or system implementation projects, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.You have a solid understanding of how MES, SAP, and production-related systems work together. You are structured, communicative, and thrive at driving progress in a complex and dynamic setting.In addition, we are looking for someone with:Significant experience in project management within manufacturing, automotive, industrial technology or production.Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects involving multiple stakeholders.Proven experience with assembly-line relocation, production-line implementation or factory/production projects.Experience working across IT, engineering and production functions.Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.The ability to create structure and direction in complex environments.Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.Confidence in making decisions while remaining collaborative and open to input.The ability to bring technical specialists, production teams, suppliers and management together around common objectives.A hands-on approach and the drive to see projects through to successful implementation.Desirable ExperienceExperience within the automotive or wider manufacturing sector.Experience with industrial robotics, automation or automated production systems.Experience with MES implementations or manufacturing IT.Experience with SAP in a production/manufacturing environment.Experience with commissioning, production ramp-up or industrialisation projects.Experience managing the relocation or transfer of existing production/assembly lines.
