Senior AWS Data Engineer (Python Background) 📍 Location: Hungary (Hybrid / Remote)💼 Type: (Freelance)Experience: Data engineering, with a strong Python backgroundTechnology: AWS Glue | Redshift | Step Functions | Lambda | Amazon S3 Build and scale our AWS data platformWe are looking for an experienced Senior AWS Data Engineer with a strong Python background to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines across our AWS platform, and to help evolve our data lake architecture. What you’ll be doingDesign, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS.Develop and optimise Amazon Redshift data models.Implement CDC (Change Data Capture) ingestion pipelines.Build orchestration workflows using AWS Step Functions.Develop serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and Glue.Manage data lakes on Amazon S3.Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).Monitor data quality and platform performance.Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams. What you’ll bringStrong hands-on experience with AWS Glue and AWS data engineering.Strong experience with Amazon Redshift and CDC ingestion.Experience building orchestration workflows with AWS Step Functions.Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless development.Experience managing data lakes on Amazon S3.Experience implementing ETL/ELT pipelines and Medallion Architecture.Experience with SNS and data quality monitoring.Strong Python background.
