Senior Palantir Foundry Developer – Reinsurance Empiric are supporting a reinsurance client on a Senior Palantir Foundry Developer requirement. This is an opportunity for an experienced data engineer with a strong consulting background to design and deliver enterprise data solutions using Palantir Foundry, Python and PySpark. Exposure to Palantir AIP would be beneficial. You’ll work closely with architects and business stakeholders, translating requirements into scalable solutions and taking ownership throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design and development through testing, production deployment and ongoing improvement. Key Skills & ExperienceSenior-level data engineering experience, with substantial hands-on delivery using Palantir Foundry.Strong Python and PySpark skills for building and optimising data pipelines and transformations.Proven end-to-end project delivery, covering requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing and production deployment.An established consulting background, delivering technical solutions for enterprise clients.Experience with data ingestion, integration, transformation and modelling within Foundry.Ability to make technical decisions independently, troubleshoot complex issues and take ownership of delivery.Practical experience maintaining data quality, reliability and performance in production.Strong stakeholder communication skills, including translating business needs into technical requirements.

Nice to HavesHands-on experience with Palantir AIP, including AI-enabled workflows and applications.Previous insurance, reinsurance or financial services project experience.Palantir Foundry certifications.Technical leadership, code reviews and mentoring experience.
