Senior Satellite System Engineer/Architect - GEO Satellite Experience

Senior Satellite System Engineer/Architect - Design Authority - Greenfield Programme - Luxembourg (Hybrid) I'm currently working with our number one Satellite Communication client on their search for a hands-on senior engineer/architect who has proven experience in delivering GEO satellites into service. This role is a greenfield programme to launch a new constellation of satellites. You would need to understand spacecraft platform design particularly well, and capable of co-engineering the overall spacecraft with external platform and payload suppliers, making system-level engineering trade-offs and ensuring the complete satellite works as one system. You would act as the technical owner of the end-to-end satellite system design and responsible for ensuring that the platform, payload, ground interface, operations concepts, customer requirements are mission-successful. Freelance contract, but there is already intention from the client to offer permanent role later (if mutually agreed). Preference for those who can work on-site more often, but it is not a requisite to be there weekly. You would have to travel to the site in Luxembourg at least once per month.
