Application Security Engineer

Our client a global consultancy are looking for a Application Security Engineer to join one of their clients in a project part-time (20 hours per week). Key Skills:Application Security & Secure SDLC: Strong expertise in secure software development, OWASP Top 10/ASVS, threat modelling, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, and secure web/API development.DevSecOps & Azure Security: Hands-on experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, managing vulnerabilities, conducting secure architecture reviews, and applying security controls within Azure environments.Security Risk & Assessment Management: Ability to manage application security risks, coordinate penetration tests and audits, oversee vulnerability remediation, and act as a trusted security advisor to engineering and business teams. Contract Details:This position will be paying up to €45 per hourFully remoteThis is 3 months long initially with high likelihood of extension into another project (for 10 hours per week)Must have right to work in the EU without needing sponsorship
