Business Architect – Consultancy Assignment within the Manufacturing Industry

We at WeQuel are now looking for an experienced Business Architect in Södertälje, where you will become an important part of the Shopfloor IT (VEIS) function with a focus on driving the transformation of a global production system. In this role you will take a global and strategic perspective, ensuring that business needs are translated into sustainable processes, information flows, and IT solutions, while creating alignment and driving change from early analysis through to implementation.

Ownership and further development of the Business Architecture within Shopfloor IT / Production ExecutionTranslation of business needs into sustainable processes, information flows, and IT solutionsIdentification and development of improvement opportunities across business processes, information flows, and IT supportAlignment between business objectives, IT initiatives, and the target architectureConnection of current-state needs, future target states, and upcoming strategic initiativesCollaboration with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Process OwnersContribution to and direction of the initiative portfolio within the assigned areaAnalyses, discovery activities, gap analyses, and pre-studiesDevelopment of visualizations and decision-support materialFacilitation of discussions and decision-making across business and IT stakeholders

You work in a dynamic environment where you independently drive your area forward while collaborating with multiple interfaces across the organization.

Strong business experience and solid understanding of operational environments and business processesRelevant academic degree or equivalent professional experienceFluent Swedish and English, spoken and writtenGood understanding of IT terminology, IT environments, and business systemsStrong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex and abstract information, and to visualize and communicate processes and dependencies clearlyExperience working at the intersection of business and IT, including analyses, discovery work, gap analyses, and/or pre-studiesStrong stakeholder management skills and experience facilitating discussions and workshops across functions and organizational levelsStructured, proactive, and solution-oriented, with the ability to work both strategically and close to the operational businessMeriting: previous experience within Business Architecture, business process and/or information modelling, and experience from Shopfloor IT, Production Execution, manufacturing, or similar industrial environments
