Scope of RoleThe Execution Lead is responsible for end-to-end delivery ownership of Door Control Functions across SPA1/CMA, SPA2, and SPA3 vehicle programs. The role drives cross-functional execution across System Design, Software, Hardware, Verification & Validation, Vehicle Integration, and supplier organizations to ensure customer functions are delivered according to quality, timing, and cost targets.The role acts as the primary SPOC towards management and ensures synchronization across all engineering domains, release activities, gate deliveries, and integration events throughout the VPDS lifecycle. Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Automotive Systems, Software, Hardware, or Vehicle Function Development.• Strong experience in leading cross-functional automotive programs involving ECU suppliers, SW/HW integration, and Verification & Validation activities.• Experience in managing automotive product development according to VPDS or equivalent OEM development processes.• Good understanding of vehicle electrical architecture, distributed ECU systems, and customer function development.• Experience working with vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, CANFD, LIN, and Ethernet.• Experience in automotive release management, integration activities, and software delivery processes.• Understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety and ISO 21434 Cybersecurity processes.• Experience in defect management and fault handling processes using tools such as Jira, VIRA, or equivalent.• Strong stakeholder management, supplier coordination, and escalation handling skills.• Experience in automotive requirement management and lifecycle tools such as CarWeaver, Teamcenter, Planisware, Confluence, and Jira.• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.• Previous experience working within automotive environment is preferred. Key Responsibilities• Be accountable for end-to-end delivery of Door Control Functions in line with agreed milestones, release plans, and quality targets.• Act as the primary SPOC towards management for all execution and delivery-related activities within scope.• Drive synchronization across System Design, SW, HW, Vehicle Integration, Verification, Manufacturing, and suppliers.• Lead cross-functional execution activities across Door Control Units, NFCA interfaces, and related subsystem integrations.• Secure supplier execution according to committed timelines, KPIs, release plans, and gateway deliverables.• Ensure readiness across the complete delivery chain from customer function to ECU implementation and vehicle verification.• Drive execution and follow-up of software and hardware releases according to WoW and VPDS processes.• Lead risk management activities including issue escalation, mitigation planning, dependency tracking, and decision management.• Coordinate integration readiness for HIL, VIL, bench, and vehicle-level validation activities.• Monitor and drive closure of Fault Reports and Fault Slip Through activities through VIRA and related governance processes.• Ensure continuous alignment across SPA1/CMA, SPA2, and SPA3 platforms for scope maturity and implementation consistency.• Drive governance meetings, milestone reviews, release reviews, and status reporting towards Engineering Managers and Program Management.• Ensure all deliverables comply with ISO 26262 Functional Safety, ISO 21434 Cybersecurity.• Support cost optimization activities including release scope balancing, supplier coordination, forecast reviews, and should-cost evaluations.• Drive continuous improvement activities related to delivery execution, test effectiveness, automation, and release quality.• Share accountability with Test Integration Lead (TIL) for release readiness, verification maturity, and integration quality at each decision gate.
