This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of future-ready production solutions across international manufacturing operations. About the AssignmentAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of a commodity engineering team responsible for developing, investigating, preparing, and implementing manufacturing processes for body shop operations.You will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Product Development teams to secure efficient, flexible, and quality-assured production solutions. The role combines manufacturing process development, virtual validation, production engineering, and automation, supporting both current and future manufacturing programs. Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:Develop and implement manufacturing processes for body shop production systems.Support both manual and automated manufacturing solutions.Drive cross-functional activities to secure robust product and process solutions.Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and engineering teams globally.Ensure manufacturing requirements related to quality, efficiency, flexibility, and cost are fulfilled.Support virtual manufacturing validation and process optimization activities.Contribute to continuous improvement of production systems and manufacturing methods.Participate in industrialization and process development projects. Required QualificationsExperience in process design within a Body Shop environment.Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).Strong knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter.Experience with Process Simulate, preferably within the automotive industry.Experience in robot offline programming.Technical education at university level or equivalent practical experience.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
