SAP Integration Designer – S/4HANA | BTP/CPI

Interface Designer – SAP / Integration We are looking for a Medior/Senior Interface Designer to join our team and play a key role in translating business and technical requirements into clear, robust interface designs and specifications.You will analyse incoming requirements, select the appropriate architecture pattern, define the integration strategy, and ensure that interface specifications and supporting documentation are complete, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse interface requirements and align them with the appropriate architecture and integration patterns.Define and document the technical strategy for individual interfaces.Produce and maintain interface documentation, including Interface Requirement Documents (IRD), Interface Design/Technical Specifications (IDD/TS), Technical Interface Specifications (TIS) and mapping specifications.Perform sanity checks on mapping specifications and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.Work with Interface Owners and technical delivery teams to obtain required inputs and coordinate documentation contributions.Support the definition of error handling, monitoring and interface operational requirements.Maintain the Interface Catalogue / master list and related project documentation.Present design decisions and rationale to technical and business stakeholders.Identify gaps, ask the right questions and proactively engage the relevant experts to resolve them.Contribute to technical project coordination and delivery activities. Essential Skills & ExperienceMedior/Senior-level experience in interface/integration design.Strong experience translating requirements into technical interface specifications and designs.Understanding of SAP S/4HANA capabilities and SAP architecture principles, including Clean Core and CDS.Good general understanding of middleware and integration technologies.Experience working with technical and business stakeholders and confidently presenting design decisions.Strong documentation skills with excellent attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach.Ability to coordinate across multiple technical delivery teams and manage competing priorities.Strong communication skills, with the confidence to challenge, clarify and obtain information from subject-matter experts.Ability to adapt to different project landscapes, architectures and delivery environments.General understanding of interface monitoring, error handling and operational support. Preferred Skills & ExperienceExperience with SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI.Experience with BizTalk, Azure integration services and/or UC4.Experience working on SAP S/4HANA transformation or integration programmes.Familiarity with tools such as DevOps and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).Experience contributing to technical project management / coordination.Experience working with interface catalogues, mapping specifications and integration governance.
