Senior Fullstack Developer – Consulting Assignment

Are you an experienced Full-Stack Developer who enjoys taking ownership of complete solutions, from frontend and backend development to integrations and cloud environments? We at WeQuel are currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in Stockholm.

In this role, you will work across the full application stack, developing scalable and robust solutions while contributing to technical decisions, mentoring other developers, and collaborating closely with both business and design teams.

As a consultant with us, you will have the opportunity to work with some of our clients who are leading companies within the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and industrial sectors, contributing to process optimization, implementation of new technologies, and the development of sustainable solutions.

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will develop end-to-end applications and work with both frontend and backend components. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions and take responsibility for delivering complete features from concept through development and testing to production.

You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, business stakeholders, and other developers to create maintainable and high-quality software solutions. As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to technical leadership, support architectural and technical discussions, and mentor other developers.

Develop end-to-end applications and complete features from concept to productionDevelop frontend solutions using Angular and backend services using Java and Spring BootDesign and optimize databasesBuild scalable, maintainable, and robust software solutionsTranslate business requirements into technical solutionsDesign and develop APIs and system integrationsWork with event-driven architectures and messaging platformsContribute to CI/CD, DevOps, and automation pipelinesWork with cloud-based environments and containerized applicationsEnsure security best practices and secure codingPerform testing, quality assurance, and performance optimizationMentor developers and contribute to technical discussions and decision-making

Has approximately 6–9 years of relevant experience within Full-Stack DevelopmentHas strong experience in frontend development using AngularHas strong experience in backend development using Java and Spring BootHas experience with database design and optimizationHas experience working with Microsoft AzureHas experience with integration technologies and API designHas experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as KafkaHas experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and automation pipelinesHas experience with container technologies such as Docker and KubernetesHas knowledge of security best practices and secure codingHas experience with testing frameworks and quality assurance practicesHas experience with microservices and distributed systemsHas experience with performance optimizationHas strong problem-solving abilitiesHas experience mentoring and coaching junior developersIs comfortable leading technical discussions and contributing to technical decision-makingHas experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsHas excellent communication skills in both Swedish and EnglishHas a relevant educational background
