Backend developer with AI experience

Description:We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer / Backend Engineer with strong production experience in Python and hands-on experience with AI/LLM solutions.This is primarily a backend engineering role, not an AI/ML Engineer or Data Scientist position. You will work on the backend of a property / real-estate platform, developing and maintaining scalable services using Python and TypeScript and running containerized workloads on AWS.A key part of the role will also involve working with LLM-based functionality. We are looking for someone who has practical experience building and deploying solutions using LLMs in real-world environments.The technical environment has grown quickly, so the ideal candidate will be senior, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership. You should be able to identify areas for improvement, introduce structure, suggest technical solutions, and work independently without requiring detailed instructions.The role also includes elements of data engineering, particularly data pipelines and DAG-based workflows, as well as working with large volumes of documents and data. Key Responsibilities:Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Python and TypeScript.Building and operating containerized applications on AWS, ideally using ECS.Developing and integrating functionality based on LLMs.Designing and maintaining data pipelines and DAG-based workflows.Working with large-scale document and data processing environments.Contributing to technical architecture and helping improve the structure of a rapidly growing technology environment.Identifying technical improvements and proactively proposing solutions.Taking ownership of technical challenges from design through implementation and production.Working closely with the responsible manager and gradually becoming a trusted technical expert and sparring partner. Nice-to-Have Experience:Data engineering, particularly pipelines and DAG-based workflows.Experience working in a product company or SaaS environment.Open-source experience.Experience bringing structure to a fast-growing or evolving technical environment.Experience within real estate, tenancy, or another regulated domain.Experience with large-scale document management or document-heavy platforms.
