Cyber Operations Transition Manager

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Operations Transition Manager to lead the transition, transformation, and operational governance of cybersecurity services across multiple security domains. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee a team of Product Owners responsible for Operational Technology (OT) Security, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, and Security Operations. You will serve as a key interface between cybersecurity leadership, technology and business stakeholders, vendors, and operational teams to establish sustainable operating models and deliver secure, scalable, and efficient cybersecurity services. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and transforming a global cyber operations environment while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:Lead the Cyber Operations portfolio across OT Security, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, and Security Operations, including SOC, Vulnerability Management, and Incident Response.Lead large-scale service transitions and operating model transformations, including the transition of cybersecurity services from managed service providers (MSSPs) and external partners to internal teams.Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Cybersecurity Product Owners, providing direction on portfolio prioritization, roadmap development, budget management, and resource allocation.Establish and monitor operational KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics to drive service quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.Manage relationships with cybersecurity vendors, MSSPs, and strategic partners, ensuring contractual commitments and service-level agreements are consistently met.Translate cybersecurity strategy into executable, measurable roadmaps, including initiatives such as Zero Trust, OT Security, and SOC transformation.Partner with executive leadership and key business stakeholders to align cybersecurity operations with organizational priorities and risk requirements.Drive standardization, process optimization, automation, and scalable operating practices across cyber operations.Identify operational risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement, and develop appropriate mitigation and transformation plans. What We're Looking For:10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, security service management, or a related field, including 5+ years in leadership of programs, services, or operational teams.Demonstrated experience leading large-scale cybersecurity service transitions, transformations, and operating model changes.Strong technical and operational knowledge across several of the following areas:OT / Industrial CybersecurityEndpoint Security, including Tanium and Microsoft DefenderCloud Security, including Azure, AWS, and GCPSecurity Operations / SOCVulnerability Management and Incident ResponseProven ability to manage complex vendor and managed service provider relationships, including SLA governance and performance management.Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive leadership.Demonstrated strengths in strategic thinking, executive communication, vendor negotiation, organizational change, and team development.Ability to translate cybersecurity strategy into practical, measurable operational roadmaps.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.Relevant professional certifications are highly preferred, such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ITIL, SABSA, or equivalent.
