Senior OMP Consultant

Our client is seeking a Senior OMP Consultant / OMP Expert to join their internal IT team and support the ongoing implementation and optimization of the OMP solution. The organization has already successfully deployed the DP (Demand Planning) and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) modules and is now entering the next phase of the program with the implementation of the OPR (Operations Planning & Scheduling) module. In parallel, the team is working on activating the Namespace integration with SAP S/4HANA. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting these initiatives, working closely with the project team, internal IT colleagues, business stakeholders, and implementation partners. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OMP professional to contribute to a complex supply chain transformation while also helping develop and upskill the organization's internal capabilities. Key Responsibilities:Support the project team in the implementation and ongoing management of the OMP OPR module, including configuration, testing, training, and production support.Provide expert guidance on OMP configuration and functionality throughout the next phases of the implementation.Evaluate proposed configurations and solutions, provide recommendations, facilitate decision-making, and constructively challenge implementation partners where appropriate.Support the implementation and activation of the Namespace integration with SAP S/4HANA.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective OMP solutions and configurations.Support testing activities, issue resolution, and deployment activities across the OPR implementation.Provide knowledge transfer, coaching, and technical training to internal IT team members.Monitor and support the internal team as they build their OMP technical capabilities and become increasingly self-sufficient.Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on OMP, production planning, scheduling, and related supply chain processes.Work collaboratively with external implementation partners while maintaining a strong focus on internal knowledge development and sustainable solution ownership. What We're Looking For:Expert-level experience with OMP S&OP OPR and OMP Modeling.Strong, demonstrated experience with OMP S&OP.Proven experience working with Namespace and its integration capabilities.Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Scheduling processes and solutions.Expert-level experience with Internal Collaboration within the OMP environment.Demonstrated experience with OMP implementations, including configuration, testing, troubleshooting, training, and support.Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders and translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to advise, challenge, and influence implementation partners.Experience coaching or mentoring internal teams and transferring technical knowledge.
