Odoo Developer – Full-Stack Python (Freelance) The role Our client needs an experienced Odoo Developer who's equally comfortable across the full Python stack. You'll build and customise Odoo modules, integrate Odoo with surrounding systems, and develop front-end and back-end features end to end. This is a hands-on build role for someone who can take a requirement from spec to production. Must-havesStrong commercial Odoo development experience (custom module development, not just configuration)Advanced Python, including OOP, testing and writing clean, maintainable codeSolid Odoo ORM, models, views (XML/QWeb) and security/access rulesPostgreSQL: data modelling, query optimisation and troubleshootingFront-end skills: JavaScript plus Odoo's OWL frameworkAPI and integration work (REST, XML-RPC/JSON-RPC) with third-party systemsGit, code reviews and working in an agile delivery team Nice-to-havesOdoo version upgrades and data migrations (e.g. v14/15/16 → 17/18)Additional Python frameworks: Django, FastAPI or FlaskModern front-end frameworks: Vue.js or ReactDocker, CI/CD and cloud hosting (AWS, Azure or Odoo.sh)Functional knowledge of Odoo apps (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing)Technical leadership or mentoring experience
