Program Manager (PM as a Service) – Commercial Platform & Carve-Out Transformation | TSA Compliance (Transition Service Agreement Compliance) Duration: 6 months initial freelance/B2B contract, extendable long-term.Location: Remote from Europe only An industrial robotics and automation company is undergoing a corporate carve-out from its parent group. Its core quotation and order management systems are group-owned and only accessible via a time-limited TSA (Transition Service Agreement). To avoid business outages after TSA expiry and unify fragmented internal commercial tools, the organization has launched a strategic transformation initiative to build a single, unified CPQ/O (Configure, Price, Quote / Order) platform. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager (PM as a Service) to lead end-to-end program delivery. You will drive TSA-mandatory legacy system replacement, consolidate disjointed tools (such as standalone configurators and legacy pricing software), align with global commercial processes, and mitigate integration uncertainties from upcoming S/4HANA and Salesforce deployments, ensuring stable, on-time, in-budget delivery with zero business disruption. Core Program MandatesTSA Compliance: Replace parent-group legacy quotation, order management, and pricing systems before TSA expiry to sustain continuous commercial operations.Platform Consolidation: Unify scattered commercial tools into a single standardized CPQ/O platform with a unified data model and user experience.Global Process Alignment: Adopt standardized end-to-end global commercial process baselines while accommodating necessary country-specific exceptions.Legacy Exit & Integration Risk Control: Deliver phased decommissioning plans for parent-group systems and mitigate scope uncertainties around ERP (S/4HANA) and CRM (Salesforce) integrations. Key ResponsibilitiesOwn full lifecycle program governance, including roadmap planning, milestone tracking, RAID management, change control, budget, and vendor delivery management.Lead TSA-driven legacy system replacement and phased migration delivery, ensuring 100% business continuity.Drive unified CPQ/O platform implementation and commercial tool consolidation to eliminate system silos across business units.Align system delivery with global enterprise process standards and integrate legacy system exit strategies into the overall roadmap.Develop flexible integration plans and contingency solutions to address S/4HANA and Salesforce scope ambiguity.Manage global cross-functional stakeholders, deliver regular executive reporting, and resolve cross-team bottlenecks.Oversee operational readiness, user adoption planning, and post-launch hypercare support. Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related field; PMP/PgMP/SAFe certification preferred.8+ years of program management experience in large-scale enterprise IT transformation, legacy replacement, and SaaS platform implementation; PM-as-a-service/consulting experience preferred.Proven track record in CPQ, order management, or commercial system consolidation for global industrial engineering, automation, or manufacturing enterprises.Practical experience with carve-out/TSA-based system migration and cross-entity IT separation projects.Familiarity with S/4HANA, Salesforce, and end-to-end order-to-cash (O2C) processes.Strong global stakeholder management, risk control, and budget governance capabilities; fluent English for executive communication. Preferred CompetenciesExperience within the robotics, industrial automation, or heavy machinery engineering industries is a strong plus.Ability to deliver stable outcomes in ambiguous, fast-changing program environments with tight deadlines.Agile/Waterfall hybrid delivery experience and cross-cultural teamwork capability.
