The company holds a strong track record of delivering complex hardware solutions to clients globally. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant technical ownership, ideal for someone who has spent their career at the serious end of RF hardware development and wants to work on systems that genuinely matter. Minimum Requirements Qualifications & BackgroundBachelor's degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering (or equivalent discipline)A minimum of 10 years in a QA, systems validation, or RF hardware engineering roleProficient in operating advanced laboratory instrumentation including Spectrum Analysers, Network Analysers, Signal Generators, Thermal Cameras, Multimeters, and data capture systemsWorking knowledge of Altium Designer for PCB schematic review and layout assessmentStrong multi-domain understanding across RF systems, power electronics, and embedded/firmware layersProven involvement in Bill of Materials generation, First Article Inspection processes, and live production floor support Core AttributesMethodical, detail-focused approach, capable of operating at both the component and system level simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving capability under pressureAble to operate independently while remaining an effective collaborator within multidisciplinary teamsResults-driven with a product-focused mindset Nice to HaveHands-on experience with Jetson compute modules or FPGA-based platformsProgramming ability in Python, MATLAB, or C++Prior exposure to RF jamming, spoofing, or electronic warfare systemsFamiliarity with AWR Microwave Office or similar RF simulation tooling Key Responsibilities Execute rigorous system-level testing and validation across RF, power, electronics, and software domainsProactively identify non-conformances, design weaknesses, and configuration risks at both micro and macro levelsDefine and implement corrective action plans and see them through to verified resolutionOwn the creation and maintenance of Bills of Materials for new products and design revisionsPlan and lead First Article Inspections to validate that initial production builds conform to design intentProvide on-site technical support during production runs, resolving manufacturing issues as they arisePartner with operations teams to improve handover procedures and ensure long-term product supportabilityIntegrate closely with Hardware, RF, Firmware, FPGA, and Software engineering teams throughout the development cycleApply PCB design knowledge during design reviews to surface manufacturability and testability concerns earlyAssess system requirements against real-world military constraints to confirm they are achievable and verifiableProduce comprehensive test logs, FAI records, technical reports, and QA documentation aligned with military certification requirementsManage workload autonomously across multiple concurrent projects without compromising output qualityMaintain clear and consistent communication across teams and with project stakeholdersEnsure all hardware testing and system processes comply with standardsDesign quality assurance frameworks that support long-term maintenance and in-service reliability, not just initial acceptance What the Role OffersThe chance to work on technically demanding, high-consequence systems in a specialised engineering environmentA collaborative team of professionals across RF, hardware, firmware, and software disciplinesA long-term, stable position within an organisation with an established portfolio If this sounds like you and you are looking to relocate to Abu Dhabi, please apply below.
