SAP Payroll Expert (Denmark)

Role: SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Country Expert – DenmarkLocation: Remote We are currently partnering with a European leader in HR and payroll solutions, to source an SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Country Expert for Denmark, on a freelance basis. In this strategic, high-visibility role, you will act as the functional owner of the Danish payroll template while leading operations to deliver accurate, compliant payroll for enterprise clients using SAP SuccessFactors (EC, ECP, and PCC). You will serve as the primary subject matter expert bridging the gap between local Danish labor legislation, client strategy, and technical system evolution. Key ResponsibilitiesTemplate Ownership & Strategy: Own the functional specifications for the Denmark country template. Design business cases for product enhancements and collaborate with the Products Department to shape the technical and services roadmap.Payroll Operations & Delivery: Lead a dedicated team responsible for end-to-end local payroll processing, ensuring strict adherence to contractual SLAs, payroll calendars, and quality standards.Compliance & SME Guidance: Serve as the ultimate Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Danish tax laws, local payroll legislation, and labor practices. Build and maintain relationships with local tax authorities and third parties.Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary strategic advisor for client-designated representatives. Handle complex queries via the Service Management Tool and participate in monthly service reviews.System Implementation & Testing: Lead functional onboarding for new clients. Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), parallel payroll runs, and advanced validation for system updates (e.g., new wage types). What We Are Looking ForSAP SuccessFactors Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of Employee Central Payroll (ECP), and Payroll Control Center (PCC), including integrations and configurations.Danish Payroll Mastery: Expert-level understanding of Danish payroll legislation, tax regulations, and local market practices.Operational Leadership: Proven experience leading payroll teams, driving SIT/UAT/Parallel testing, and managing complex SLA-driven operations.Language: Must be fluent in Danish.
