Veritas Cluster L2 Engineer - Financial Services - Remote - German Speaking We are seeking a German speaking Veritas Cluster L2 Engineer to support high availability infrastructure within a regulated banking environment. This contract role involves maintaining and troubleshooting mission critical clustered systems across a mixed Linux estate, ensuring uptime and compliance standards are consistently met. The engagement suits a hands on specialist comfortable operating in fast paced, audit sensitive settings. Responsibilities:Administer and troubleshoot Veritas Cluster Server, InfoScale environments across production and non production systems.Perform failover testing, cluster configuration changes, and root cause analysis for cluster related incidents.Support RedHat Linux servers, including patching, performance tuning, and operating system level troubleshooting.Maintain documentation for cluster configurations, change records, and incident resolutions in line with banking compliance requirements.Collaborate with infrastructure, storage, and application teams during planned changes, upgrades, and disaster recovery exercises.Escalate and coordinate with L3 support and vendor teams on complex cluster or storage issues. Key skills and experience:Recent, hands on experience with Veritas Cluster Server, InfoScale, version 7.4.2 or higher, including 8.x.x, within the last year.Recent, hands on experience with RedHat Linux 8 and 9, within the last year. Experience with RedHat Linux 10 is beneficial.Fluent German language skills, spoken and written.Experience working within a regulated banking or financial services environment. Desirable skills:Familiarity with other operating systems and clustering technologies.Exposure to storage area network concepts and disaster recovery processes.
