Lead Mobile Engineer | Relocate to Abu Dhabi, UAE

Location: Abu Dhabi (relocation package will be provided)Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 AED per month (~ €100,000 per annum, tax free) We’re looking for a Lead Mobile Engineer to take technical ownership of iOS and Android SDK development for security-sensitive mobile technology. You’ll lead the architecture, development and delivery of SDKs across Swift and Kotlin, working on deep telecommunications integrations, authentication and eSIM provisioning flows. You’ll remain highly hands-on while setting technical direction, establishing engineering standards and helping shape how the mobile platform evolves. What You’ll DoOwn the technical direction and architecture of the iOS and Android SDKsLead hands-on development across Swift and Kotlin, from API design through to production releaseDesign and implement security-critical capabilities including cryptographic key management, biometric authentication and secure hardware integrationsEstablish coding standards, architectural patterns and engineering best practices across both platformsLead technical decision-making around SDK architecture, APIs, security and platform interoperabilityPartner with Backend and Security teams to design APIs, authentication flows, deep linking and security controlsOwn the full SDK lifecycle, including testing, versioning, release and distributionEnsure SDKs remain secure, reliable, performant and backwards compatible as they evolveDrive improvements to mobile development, testing and CI/CD practices What We’re Looking For7+ years of professional mobile engineering experience, with significant technical leadership experienceDeep production expertise in Swift and KotlinProven experience designing and shipping public-facing SDKs or mobile frameworksStrong experience with iOS Keychain and Secure EnclaveStrong experience with Android KeyStore and StrongBoxStrong understanding of mobile architecture and API designStrong knowledge of mobile networking and identity, including URLSession, OkHttp, JWT, OAuth and certificate pinning Nice to HaveExperience in Identity, FinTech or TelecommunicationsExperience with eSIM/eUICC, CoreTelephony or Android TelephonyManagerFamiliarity with LPA (Local Profile Assistant) and carrier-grade activation flowsBackground in fraud detection, root/jailbreak detection or mobile securityExperience building CI/CD pipelines for automated SDK testing and distributionExperience mentoring or technically leading mobile engineers Interested?
