Senior Platform Engineer - Azure | Relocation to Abu Dhabi, UAE

Location: Abu Dhabi (relocation package will be provided)Salary: Up to 40,000 AED per month (~ €100,000 per annum, tax free) We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help build and operate the cloud infrastructure that supports a growing suite of products. You’ll work across Azure, AWS and GCP, shaping core infrastructure, automation and internal platforms used by engineering teams. The role sits at the intersection of Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure and SRE, with a strong focus on reliability, developer experience and reusable infrastructure. You’ll be hands-on in a team that values automation, cloud-native architecture and engineers who use AI tools to improve how they build and operate infrastructure. What You’ll DoDesign, build and operate core cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS and GCPOwn and evolve Kubernetes infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Build reusable infrastructure and internal platforms that make it easier for engineering teams to deploy and operate servicesDrive automation across provisioning, configuration management, operational workflows and self-service toolingShape platform architecture and contribute to cloud migration, modernisation and infrastructure standardisation initiativesImprove the reliability, availability and performance of critical platform systemsEstablish and improve SLIs, SLOs, incident response and postmortem processes What We’re Looking For7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE or similar hands-on rolesStrong expertise with Microsoft Azure, including Kubernetes/AKS, compute, networking and managed servicesExperience working across multi-cloud environments, particularly Azure alongside AWS and/or GCPDeep Kubernetes experience, including operating and troubleshooting production environmentsStrong understanding of infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform or TerragruntExperience designing cloud infrastructure with clear separation between application, platform and infrastructure responsibilitiesStrong Linux experience and scripting ability in Python, Bash or Go Why Abu Dhabi?Abu Dhabi is attracting top global technology leaders, offering an exceptional lifestyle with tax-free income, year-round sun, and a high standard of living.
