Senior Solutions Architect

Location: Abu Dhabi (relocation package will be provided)Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 AED per month tax free We’re looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to design secure, scalable and highly available authentication and orchestration solutions for enterprise customers. You’ll sit between customers, Product and Engineering, translating complex business, technical, security and regulatory requirements into practical architecture. You’ll own solutions from initial discovery through to detailed design and implementation, helping engineering teams deliver systems that meet demanding security, performance and compliance requirements. What You’ll DoWork with enterprise customers to understand complex technical, security and business requirementsTranslate requirements into scalable, secure technical architecturesProduce detailed high-level and low-level architecture and design documentationGuide engineering teams through implementation, providing direction on security, scalability and architectural decisionsDesign highly available systems with a strong focus on operational excellence, observability and reliabilityAdvise on architecture across microservices, serverless and event/message-driven systemsDesign appropriate data architectures across SQL, NoSQL and caching technologiesEnsure solutions align with authentication and identity standards including OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, FIDO and NIST SP 800-63Translate regional and customer-specific regulatory requirements into practical technical designs, including GDPR, PSD2 and CBUAE requirements What We’re Looking For10+ years of experience across software engineering and technical architectureStrong experience designing and building complex, secure and highly available software productsDeep expertise in identity, authentication and securityStrong understanding of OIDC, including authentication flows and best practicesProven experience building Java applications on KubernetesSignificant experience with AWS or GCPStrong understanding of secure-by-design principles and cryptographyStrong knowledge of distributed architectures, including microservices, serverless and event-driven systemsStrong understanding of SQL, NoSQL and caching technologies and when to apply eachFamiliarity with security, compliance and regulatory requirements across the EU and/or Middle EastExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, engineers and senior business stakeholders Why Abu Dhabi?Abu Dhabi is attracting top global technology leaders, offering an exceptional lifestyle with tax-free income, year-round sun, and a high standard of living.
