With a wide range of expertise and a focus on finding the right solutions, we have been delivering successful projects for over a decade.Role DescriptionOur client is expanding its Connectivity team and is looking for a Senior Software Developer – Connectivity & AI to join the team in Gothenburg as a consultant.This is a hands-on engineering role where embedded software, cloud connectivity and AI-assisted development meet. You will develop software that connects our client's products with the digital world, working across the software stack from interfaces with embedded hardware and vehicle communication networks to cloud services and development infrastructure.You will contribute to onboard connectivity solutions while helping establish new ways of developing software with AI. The role offers the opportunity to work on challenging technical problems, contribute to software architecture and explore how AI can improve development speed, quality, testing and maintainability.You will work closely with system engineers, architects and software developers to turn system requirements into production software and will have ownership of your work from idea and prototype through implementation, verification and product delivery.The Connectivity team values collaboration, experimentation and continuous learning. The team enjoys solving difficult technical problems, questioning established ways of working and turning new ideas into useful products.RequirementsAt least 5 years of professional software development experience.Strong hands-on software engineering skills and experience developing production-quality software.Experience with Azure and cloud technologies, including IoT and networking.Experience with embedded software development and interfaces towards hardware and communication networks such as CAN.Interest in, and preferably hands-on experience with, AI-assisted software development and modern AI coding tools.Ability to independently drive technical problems from an initial idea through to a working solution.Curiosity about how AI can change and improve software engineering.A strong engineering mindset focused on quality, security and maintainability.Experience with AI-assisted coding workflows, coding agents or AI-enabled developer tools is an advantage.Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code is an advantage.Experience with software architecture and technical design is an advantage.Android application development experience is an advantage.Experience with CI/CD, automated testing and modern DevOps practices is an advantage.Experience with connectivity, telematics or connected vehicle systems is an advantage.Ability to work hands-on and collaborate closely with system engineers, architects and software developers.Comfortable working in a team environment where experimentation, learning and continuous improvement are encouraged.How to ApplyIf you are a senior software developer looking to advance your career and work at the intersection of embedded engineering, cloud connectivity and AI-assisted software development, we invite you to apply.Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and motivation for joining Amaris Consulting.Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!Max Forkman – max.forkman@amaris.com
