CMC provide expert engineering solutions on an international capacity across Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, Software and other Advanced Engineering projects. Join Our Latest ProjectWe are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading engineering team. You will contribute to the development and design of complex products and systems within a technically advanced engineering environment, working across the product development lifecycle from concept and detailed design through to further development and technical documentation. Working closely with other design engineers, technical specialists and multidisciplinary project teams, you will play an important role in ensuring mechanical designs meet demanding requirements for functionality, quality, precision and manufacturability. This assignment offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging products within an established Swedish defence organisation and contribute to projects where engineering quality and precision are critical. What We're Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, ideally with a focus on precision mechanical design, or equivalent relevant professional experience.5+ years' experience within Mechanical Design Engineering.Strong experience in mechanical design within a technical development environment.Experience working through the full product development lifecycle, from concept and design through to technical documentation.Strong 3D CAD and mechanical design capability.Ability to work independently in a structured and methodical manner.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Comfortable working within multidisciplinary and cross-functional engineering teams.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Good command of both Swedish and English, spoken and written. Desirable ExperiencePrevious experience within the defence industry.Experience within the naval sector.Experience in precision mechanical design.Experience working within technically advanced engineering environments.Experience in project-oriented product development organisations.Experience designing products with demanding requirements for quality, functionality and manufacturability.
