Mechatronics Engineer – Group Design Leader

ALTEN Sweden is now looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to take on a Group Design Leader role in an exciting automotive project in Gothenburg. You will lead development within mechatronic systems, coordinating cross-functional teams and driving technical delivery.

About the roleAs a GDL, you will:Lead development within mechatronic systems.Coordinate between Mechanical and Electrical domains.Drive technical decisions and ensure delivery on time, cost, and quality.Work with PLM systems such as Teamcenter and KDP/TCPLM.Use CarWeaver for system support and documentation.Lead cross-functional meetings and manage stakeholders.Identify risks and drive mitigation actions . Who You AreWe’re seeking an engineer with:Several years of experience in mechatronics design.Experience with Teamcenter and PLM systems (required).Familiarity with KDP/TCPLMExperience with SystemWeaver / CarWeaver / StarWeaver (preferred).Automotive experience.A degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalen t.
