Test Engineer – Verification & Validation

ALTEN is now looking for a Test Engineer for an assignment towards one of our clients within the automotive industry. In this role, you will work with verification and validation activities, defining test requirements, executing testing, and analyzing results to ensure quality and performance throughout the product development process. About the roleAs a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing verification activities using simulation environments, test rigs, and physical vehicles. You will work closely with development teams to define verification criteria and test requirements, ensuring that products and functions meet technical targets before release. Main responsibilitiesDefine verification criteria and test requirements for functions and featuresCreate test plans and prepare test activitiesPlan, execute, and follow up testing in test rigs and vehiclesAnalyze test results and provide recommendationsManage and report faults identified during testingContribute to the development of test methods and verification strategies We see that you have:B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalentAt least two years of experience within testing, verification, or validationExperience with MATLAB/SimulinkExperience with automation systemsExperience with AVL PUMAExperience from the automotive or heavy vehicle industryFluent in English, both written and spoken We warmly welcome your application already today!
