We are looking for a Senior Electronic Hardware Designer to join a leading security and access solutions company in Stockholm, Sweden. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electronic hardware design, PCB design, laboratory testing, prototyping, and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).The candidate should be hands-on, self-driven, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary engineering team.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electronic hardware circuits and schematics using Altium Designer.Perform PCB floorplanning, component placement, routing, and layout activities.Build, assemble, and test electronic prototypes in a laboratory environment.Conduct verification measurements and troubleshoot hardware issues.Apply EMC design principles and resolve electromagnetic compatibility issues.Perform soldering, hardware testing, and product verification.Collaborate with mechanical and firmware teams to ensure successful product integration.Support the assembly, disassembly, and testing of complete lock-case products.Required Skills and QualificationsSenior-level experience in electronic hardware design.Proficiency in Altium Designer, including circuit design, schematic capture, floorplanning, and PCB layout.Practical laboratory experience, including soldering, prototype development, and verification measurements.Strong understanding of EMC design principles, protection techniques, and troubleshooting.Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish.Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.Preferred SkillsHands-on experience assembling, disassembling, and testing complete lock-case products.Broader technical understanding of mechanical systems and embedded firmware.Experience with EMC testing methods and equipment.Strong practical problem-solving and hardware debugging skills.
